We pick up our reading habits from the behaviours of those around us – I’m always telling teachers this. So When I saw these snaps of my daughter from this afternoon, I laughed out loud. I’m not sure when she’s seen us reading like this, but curled into the corner of the sofa with my knees up and a book is one of my favourite places to be in the evening or the early hours of the morning. As for the second photo, I don’t quite fit in the bouncy chair, but if I had one the right size I probably would.
My daughter is currently reading: The Consolations of Philosophy apparently.
My daughter is reading: Suite Francaise (in French), which is something her father has never found time to do.
